I had SO much fun photographing Emily, at Deer Meadow Farm in Wellington, Florida, for her graduating senior photos! As an equestrian, she wanted to dedicate majority of her time being photographed with her dressage horse, a lustitano named Dino. We began by photographing Dino’s equine portraits, then explored the beautifully property, utilizing the luxury barns, courtyards, and pond as our backdrops.
Even though I photograph majority of graduating seniors who are equestrians, a common request is to have photos of them without horses (or additional props). This is typically a requirement for school year books, but many seniors like to share photos of them with family members who may not be as enthusiastic about horses, as we all are.
So before the rain arrived, Emily and I raced to Worth Avenue Clock Tower in Palm Beach, photographing her within the tower and with an ocean backdrop, fulling both her needs of photos with her beloved horse, and for her year book requirements and family requests.
Ever since, my mind has been non stop dreaming about all of the photographs I could create with Emily and Dino at Deer Meadow. I did not have near enough time to create all I wanted to during this photoshoot, and am super excited to have another opportunity to work with Emily and Dino during my upcoming trip to Wellington, March 6-10th!
