Fun fact: I used to be a wedding photographer!
But then reality set in, and I ditched the 12 hour days with a gazillion strangers, for the horses and dogs, their people, and a much more intimate setting.
However, I do still get wedding inquiries from equestrians at heart. And while I’ll alway refer them to professionals currently working in the wedding photography industry, I do offer them the option to enjoy an engagement session or bridal session, where we have the flexibility to capture their love for each other, their horses, and the equestrian lifestyle they thrive in.
What’s a bridal session? It is a photoshoot that follows your wedding date, where you both get dressed back up into your wedding attire, and we capture intimate photographs of you with your horses (and/or dogs)! Some perks to this session…
You’ve already enjoyed your wedding, so there’s less concern of getting your outfits covered in horse hair or a bit dirty if you sit on your horse.
There is less stress for your horse(s), as your photoshoot will take place in a location they are familiar with, and with the celebration over, there will be less commotion for your horses to be concerned over.
We can take our time creating and capturing the moments you feel and dream of, without the restraint of a wedding timeline and guests waiting to be attended to.
You get a MUCH larger collection of photographs in your wedding attire, with your significant other and your horse(s), than you would on your wedding date.
You’re hiring an equine photographer expert, which means not only will YOU look great in the images, but so will your horse(s). 😉
